Hi
I'M ELIZABETH
THIS IS ME
Born and raised in the Midwest.
Small towns. Slow days. And when I was old enough, I left. Hurling myself into nothingness and chasing feelings of home.
After many years of doing that I finally met my husband. He was everything I needed. He steadied me, grounded me. He softened the edges, and gave me somewhere to land. When my first son was born, everything changed. It changed not gradually, but in an instant. Things that mattered did not matter anymore. Priorities shifted, every single thought big or small changed.
And the photos. I couldn't take enough.
Life for me never made sense until I had my children.
We live a simple life together in St. Charles, the five of us. Three beautiful babies and a bunch of farm animals. My days are spent making forts, tending to scraped knees and being as present as I can.
I’ve always loved photography but after having my children it found a place in my life.
When I don't have a camera in my hand I have three small children crawling all over me. My hands are always full & so is my heart.
